Our program runs for approximately six months from the beginning of November through he end of April. Each kidcoach makes the following commitment:
1. Attend one KidCoach training sessions.
2. Conduct weekly phone conversations or personal visits with your kid (about 30 minutes each).
3. Four luncheon group workshops that include all kids and coaches for the program site.
4. Attend POP Night, the annual awards ceremony where the accomplisments of kids and coaches is recognized.
Your total commitment will be about 60 hours over the six-month period.
Selection Criteria
To be eligible to become a Future Possibilities' KidCoach, you must meet the following criteria:
1. Be at least 21 years of age
2. Submit an Application
3. Obtain a clear police background check (we will provide the forms at our first meeting)
4. Pass a personal reference check
5. Have e-mail, and internet access
